Directions:

  1. Heat up 1 cup of water in a glass bowl.
  2. Place your coconut oil in  a smaller glass bowl and place that bowl in the bowl of hot water (to melt and heat the coconut oil)
  3. Once the coconut oil has warmed up, start massaging into scalp.
  4. Massage the oil into your scalp for a good five minute.
  5. Then, grab a wide tooth comb and comb your hair.
  6. Leave on for 30 minutes and wash out.

Continue this treatment 2-3 times a week for a month. Then, cut back to once a week until you see desired results.

This is by far one of the best hair growth methods I’ve ever used, and I highly encourage all to try it!

  1. Hello Andrea,
I have had my hair half foiled and I remember when I had full foils and I had to start growing my hair out to its natural grey!
I had to do this because when I washed my hair I couldn’t even get a wide tooth comb through my hair because of the foiling.
I have Lupus SLE and as such we get a thing called Lupus Fog. I completely forgot what happened to my hair when I had a full head of foils done! It looked lovely if I went back to the hairdresser and they washed and dried it but I am travelling today from Brisbane to Melbourne and even though my hair needs to be washed and possibly straightened I’m not doing a thing to it this morning.
I will attempt to get an appointment in Bendigo tomorrow or Tuesday!
Do you have any secretes to what I can do if I wash my hair and I can’t do anything with it?

    Kind regards,
    Loretta Ward

  2. I’m anxious to try your hair treatment with coconut oil, because coconut oil is used successfully for a myriad of different purposes. I do want to say that though it is an amazing ingredient for various uses, it DOES NOT have the capability to grow hair thicker and several inches longer in just 2 months. There is nothing on this planet that will cause hair to grow at a superfast rate, instead of the 1/4″ to 1/2″ that normally grows out in a month. I’m going to start the routine tomorrow morning before my shower, and I will follow it through for 2 months. At the end of that time I will reevaluate the length and thickness of my hair to hopefully see a noticeable improvement. My hair is already down to my lap, but it has become frighteningly thin. I hope wholeheartedly that I will see an improvement there. I will then post a new comment with the results. Thank you for bearing with me. ~Marsha S.

    • I was looking for most recent comment and it is you, did this actually work to help grow your hair faster? Or was it a waste oftime. I started it today since I have coconut oil always on handanyhow, but I dont want to waste time doing this if it doesnt really work,.

      • I have for many years regularly used coconut oil on my hair as a deep conditioning treatment and it’s great for that. I love it. However, it isn’t going to make your hair grow any faster. You have to realize that all of your hair that you can see and that the coconut oil can touch its dead. While it will leave your hair luxuriously moisturized and healthier looking healthier, (olive oil works very well also) putting anything on something dead can’t make what’s under your scalp grow faster.

  3. Today’s my first day of the coconut/water treatment, I’ll be doing it for a month. I will keep you intouch with my progress.

  4. Ciao..
